- Line a 9”x5” loaf pan with parchment paper and preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients for the meatloaf. Mix well to combine.
- Add meat to the loaf pan, gently press meat down and shape evenly and bake meatloaf at 375˚F for 40 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix all of ingredients for the sauce. Spread the sauce over meatloaf then return to oven and bake additional 15-20 minutes.
- Rest meatloaf 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with baking juices from the pan.
Now I made a few changes but this is THE BEST recipe I've found for meatloaf and TRUST ME I've tried a more than I can count. Here are the changes/additions I made. I only made a few little changes, first I added diced cubanelle peppers to the garlic and onions, I didn't have sour cream so I used a little bit of mayo (I was sorprised that work out very very well) I used italian breadcrumbs and to the sauce I added a little bit of steak sauce and some maple syrup. Delicioso!! uh, I almost forgot, I placed two slices of regular bread at. The milk, egg, ketchup, and diced onion in the meat mixture are all working to keep the meatloaf moist and delicious.
